Self-Check-In & Accessibility Information Guests at Alpenglow Meadow enjoy a convenient self-check-in process. The person who books the reservation will receive a personalized entry code: simply use the last four digits of your phone number to enter the home at your agreed-upon check-in time. For security, the code will automatically deactivate at the agreed-upon check-out time. We also offer half-day stays at a discounted rate for early check-in or late check-out. You can book these in advance by sending a message for details. This system allows for a flexible, contactless check-in while keeping the home secure and accommodating your schedule. Lower Level: The bottom portion of the house consists solely of a garage and a mechanical room. Guests do not have access to these areas at any time. The doors are securely locked, and no one will be entering or exiting these spaces during your stay. These areas are kept completely secure to ensure your privacy and safety. Accessibility Notice: Please note that there is a flight of stairs to enter the home, which means that the property is not wheelchair accessible. Power outage notice: In our more remote location we do have heavy windstorms at times, these can affect electrical power supply, we are not responsible for power outages cause by weather or downed trees on power lines. We are usually very on top of it and connect a generator to supply power to run essentials if the outage lasts longer than a few hours. These are very rare occurrences. Its all part of beautiful, rugged, mountain living :) Important Water Information: The home operates on a private well system. Unlike city water, well water can appear consistently cloudy or mineral-rich and may differ in smell or appearance. This is a known and disclosed condition of the property, is safe for use, and is not considered a defect. Guests sensitive to these characteristics may prefer accommodations with municipal water. Breakup season: Breakup season is upon us! Please be mindful that there may be some mud around the home as snow and ice breakup has not been kind to our fresh lawn this year.
